Mathew W. Norris

Mathew W. Norris serves as Vice President for The Corydon Group. Matt possesses valuable years of experience at the state legislature, both as a staff person and as a lobbyist, which benefits the clients of the firm. Prior to joining The Corydon Group in 2006, Mr. Norris served as the Director of Legislative Services for another governmental-affairs firm. He also served as State Government Affairs Intern for Eli Lilly and Company and the law firm of Ice Miller during the 2004 Legislative Session. During this time, he focused on a wide range of issues, including pharmaceutical regulation, taxation, and economic development. Prior to his work in the private sector, Matt was employed as an Intern and then Legislative Assistant for the Senate Republican Caucus from 1999-2002. As the assistant to the Environmental Affairs Committee Chairperson and the Governmental and Regulatory Affairs Committee Chairman, Mr. Norris gained experience in a wide array of environmental and utility issues. He also handled the Senators' constituent concerns and coordinated efforts with executive agencies. Matt graduated from the Indiana University School of Law- Indianapolis in May of 2004 with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence and was admitted into the Indiana Bar in 2004.
