Ed Roberts

Ed Roberts, as Senior Advisor to The Corydon Group, brings over three decades of experience and knowledge to the clients of our firm. Ed is one of the most experienced and well-respected strategists in the halls of the Indiana Statehouse. Ed began his political experience on the staff of the Republican Caucus of the Indiana House of Representatives in 1976 and 1977. In 1977 Ed joined the Indiana Manufacturers Association (IMA) and spent the next 32 years being one of the leading voices for Indiana business concerns – including serving the IMA as Vice President Human Resources, Labor, Legal and Political Affairs. Ed still serves the IMA in a similar capacity on a contract basis.

Before working in Indiana politics, Ed was a member of the United States Air Force from 1965-1969 and on the Indianapolis Police Department from 1969-1976. Ed holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. Ed has been married to his wife, Melinda, since 1970 and has two daughters and four grandchildren.
